Mojang will start enforcing their new EULA starting August 1st. From that date, we can no longer offer items and rewards for donating.
The existing ranks will still exist with all their commands and permissions but you will not be able to buy the rank.
The EULA says that existing ranks must become available by other means, so I'll make them purchasable using rewards points. The cost of Coal rank, for example, will be 10,000 Rewards Points.
Anybody who donates between now and August 1st will receive the donation package that they pay for and will keep it after the change.
Donating can still earn a special prefix, the ability to make your own suffix and to have a coloured name, because these do not affect gameplay.
Donating cannot offer any items, game money, rewards points, the ability to fly, or any other perks that currently come with the donation packs.
I don't expect to receive many donations when there is nothing to offer. If it gets to a point where the server has cost more money than it has made, I will have to close it down. At the moment there have been enough donations received to keep the server running until October.
One possibility that is allowed is to have a shared reward for all players when a donation is made. Such as having a donation goal which anybody can put money towards, and when reached all players receive the same rewards. I'm not quite sure how this could work or what could be offered, because I think the rewards would need to be permanent, even for new players.
