You can view the donation store in-game with the command /buy
(After using /buy you will not see any chat from other players until you type something yourself)
The Easter Egg and Carrot store will be open on Friday. It will be open for 10 days. After that, the eggs will be removed.
Hints will be given throughout the week in the Easter thread.
1.8 and UUID
Some time after Minecraft 1.8 is released, we will be given the option to change our Minecraft user names. Then the only way to keep track of a player who has changed their name is to use their Universally Unique Identifier (UUID).
This means that every plugin on the server that uses player names needs to be updated to use UUID.
If, for example, the Chest Lock plugin still used names and "Foo" changed his name to "Bar", all of the chests previously locked by "Foo" would be inaccessible to "Bar". Then if someone else changed their name to "Foo", they could open the chests and take all of the items.
This applies to all plugins that currently use names.
The hard part of updating the plugins is making sure all of the existing data is converted correctly, and that we can still type names in the game and have everything work.
The UUID is unique to every account, mine looks like this: d8965065-623f-4351-aa22-1411a82d8068
It wouldn't be very nice to have to type that in-game instead of 'SirPsp'.

So while this, hopefully, should not affect any of you, there may be some bugs as I update the plugins.
I have already updated 3 plugins to use UUID, but they were the easy ones.
If I can't update everything in time for name changing, the server may need to go offline while I fix it because we cannot risk somebody changing their name and losing their stuff.
If you notice anything wrong (which is likely to happen), please post here or tell me asap.
