PvP Competition 2016

Grab your weapons and get ready for the second official Acid Mines PvP tournament!

Get your gear ready. Sign up will close on the 14th of January.

Set Rules:
These rules apply to the entire tournament. Prepare your gear accordingly.

No consumables of any kind. (no food, no potions)
Only 2 enchantments allowed on each item
No special enchantments (Enchantment must be created using an anvil or enchantment table; no donation or holiday armour)

Admins who wish to compete must use an exact copy of the opponent's armour and weapons. Some people did this last year and now it is a rule.

The Fight Shop is open again, this time it is at the mall and you can choose what to buy. Visit /warp mall.

I will happily remove any enchantment from your items at a cost of $1000 per enchantment.

Fights will take place in a special arena where the rules can be enforced.
They will be 1v1 best out of 3. Winner advances.
I must be present at all fights. If both participants are online and I am not, post on this thread and I will come online.

The tournament won't just be on one day. Fights will be whenever the 2 players are online. If a player doesn't come on for 5 days during the tournament, they may forfeit their match.

This tournament will be double elimination. Losers go into the losers bracket.
The winner of the losers will make it back into the final round of the winners.

Because of double elimination, if the winner loses in Round 5, there will be a Round 6 rematch between the finalists.

The fights we are currently waiting on are taking some time due to time differences. The contestants are coming online, just at different times.

However, if any of these fights have not been completed by the end of this weekend, I will be handing out forfeits. Forfeiting the match also forfeits the participation reward.

Baja and froth, if you're not on the game try to be on steam when you're home/awake and I will contact you when the other is online.

Fazed you've been online a lot but Pluky hasn't. If either of you have a contact method (like steam or somewhere to message you), send me a message.

And as long as Colt can get on anytime after midday Sydney time it should be good, but that fight isn't as important until after Baja vs froth, and another after that.

If any of the contestants for a fight are online together and I am not, post here and I will be notified by email.

Looking at the current standings, I think TheWestAussie has already secured at least 3rd place, and still has a second chance if he loses.

We've had 13 fights so far and still 12 to go. Just look at those rewards and fight to win!

There's only 1 straight line to wrap up the tournament now. We're just waiting on captinawesome500 and frothington.

Psp.. a couple of days ago captinawesome500 told me that he wouldn't be online because of school. So from what he said to me, I am not entirely sure he will be available to fight frothington. Not sure what you want to do from here, just wanted to let you know

He was online on Friday, I don't think school affected him over the weekend.

This decision has nothing to do with what Fazed just said, it is because captin was away at the start of the tournament and didn't log in over the weekend at all.
captinawesome500 will not be progressing in the tournament and has forfeited his right to the participation rewards.
frothington will advance.
